QAD Product structure maintenance : date ranges may not overlap

Hello,

When i try to add and item to a parent in the product structure maintenace, an error message shows up "date ranges may not overlap. please re-enter".
Even though this item is not already added in this structure. and i also tried to chage the start date but its not working.

has anyone had this issue before.

You need to review carefully the product structure, a structure must already exist, probably with an end date open (blank).
