proserve or _mprosrv

Hello everyone,

I wonder what's the difference between proserve and _mprosrv

For example, if it makes any difference if I start the server with

$DLC/bin/proserve $DBNAME

or

$DLC/bin/_mprosrv $DBNAME

The proserve shell script checks your environment, may set some variables if they are not already set and then calls _mprosrv (or Java if appropriate).

Usually just calling _mprosrv is equivalent -- and it makes for a cleaner "ps" listing
