Progress with expiration date ?

Hello to all, one of our customer still using Progress 8.3b, an old one version !

When he try to install Progress 8.3b on a new machine, Progress gave him a message about the expiration date of 10 years for the licence.

Anyone know that or have info on this issue ?

AFAIK test licenses have an expiration date. I am not aware that any other licenses have an expiration date.

It might be that the installation routine won't run after 10+ years.

Sometime when you make an error in the control number you will get a error that the licence has expired instead of saying that it invalide.
