RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Self directed, team-oriented individual with strong
analytical, communication, problem assessment, resolution,
and technical development skills to assist in designing
and development with minimal supervision.
* Research, analyze and apply fixes to a series of proprietary
programs that perform credit card processing.
* Requirements gathering, technical documentation, unit testing
and debugging applications from the analysis through the
implementation and maintenance phases of the development
life cycle following a structured project management methodology.
* Develop technical requirements, application design specifications,
and prototypes for all application responsibility areas.
* Work closely with functional users and effectively translate
business requirements into information technology solutions.
QUALIFICATIONS:
* 3-5 years technical experience in application development
with a minimum of 3 programming languages
* The successful candidate will be a moderate to strong Client
Server programmer with Progress 4GL programming experience.
Experience with Visual Basic or similar packages would be a plus.
* Relational database experience required.
* BS in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
* Business process architectural skills. Must be able to take a
concept and/or a process and ultimately mold an application
function satisfying the requirement.
* Must have good communication skills, both oral and written.
* Progress GUI Appbuilder experience a plus.
* Must be a team player
