Progress on SAN level Copy

Hi,

Could anyone please let me know whether Progress binaries or rather progress software works or not after doing a SAN level copy from One Server to another (during DC migration).

The Source server have couple of Progress DBs running, so is it possible if we do SAN level copy from this server to another new server that Progress DB will work fine, without making any changes.

In general it should.

There are, of course, details. Windows, for instance needs lots of registry stuff to be set. Unix scripts might need to reflect changed paths and so forth.

Thanks a lot Tom, please let me know apart from registry changes are any other changes needs to be done or any other steps tp be taken.
We are going to do a SAN level replicaiton.
