19+ years progress programming and still learning.
Found this little beauty shoved at the back of a cupboard. Unfortunately it the only one. I guess Progress Results was more for the end user rather than the developer.

That's v6. I have the Programming Handbook and Language Tutorial on my shelf. I find them more helpful for some stuff than the modern manuals.

My V9 Pocket Progress went missing in our office move. I was devastated.

Pocket Progress never was pocket size - at least as far as I can remember. Probably some marketing weasel thought it to be a good naming.

I think the "pocket" refers to the map pocket in a greatcoat or the like.

The v4 Pocket Progress is still pocket sized and surprisingly useful.

IMHO the main thing missing is listings of attributes and methods for handle based programming.

Just remember -- only trained professionals with medical staff on standby should attempt this with the OE10 "pocket progress".
