progress for the web using linux as OS

Depends on what you want to drive the front end with.

If you have progress on a linux system you could:

-- upgrade to webspeed and build a full-blown application.
-- Use an odbc connector and build the front end in PHP or PERL
-- use procgi.pl and build the app in PROGRESS 4GL.

All depends on your needs.
