Type of employment: Contract to hire (40-50 HR for contract portion)

Requirements:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, math or equivalent and 5
to 8 years experience in Progress Database Administration. Must have
Progress 9.x experience.
Relational database normalization experience (i.e. created and adjust
tables, create relationships, tuning/performance/efficiency recommendations,
etc...)
Undertand architecture and logical models (logical and physical)
Database security
Managing distributed databases
Troubleshooting techniques
Monitoring database and resolving fragmentation
Monitoring multiple databases
Monitoring memory
Database backup principles and governing rules
