Speed of ABL connections can be improved by using a schema cache file, enabled using the -cache parameter. It would be great to have same feature for SQL connection via JDBC. Inside PDSOE, DB Navigator uses a SQL connection to work and when the database has more than 1300 tables, it takes a while to load ..
