Allow developers to build and deploy Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL code for free. This will make the language more popular for new developers and small companies. With the existing integrations capabilities, Progress OpenEdge ABL/4GL will be used in many projects where license fee for the right to compile and run code is not acceptable. Many of those projects will grow and will open new market (currently almost inaccessible) for commercial products offered by Progress.
