Currently it is possible to connect to database through TCP connection from network. If the database is exposed to internet, then the risk is even higher. Anyone from the outside world can connect to database by knowing few basic parameters. This is a security risk. It would be nice to have Openedge database by default restrict the remote access and then have option to allow access through remote connection.
