It would be nice to have the option, perhaps as a broker startup parameter, to log a message to the db log when the BI file is extended. The process of investigating excessive BI growth after the fact involves long, painstaking analysis of AI scans and I can only infer when BI growth actually took place. Therefore it is difficult to track down which programs were running at the time and ultimately find the root cause. Having log file messages for each BI extend operation would make such issues easier to diagnose.
