Hello ! Good day. Please consider below IDEA to improve Open Edge Database's PROBKUP utility: Current Behavior Under certain circumstances PROBKUP ends Successfully but it isn't possible to restore it later, with PROREST getting messages like : memory fault. Desired Change Have PROBKUP utility modified so that it scans the db while backing it up Current Workaround Trying to determine whether the database is fine by scanning it as indicated in http://knowledgebase.progress.com/articles/Article/2077 isn't a desired activity to be run on regular basis. Reference Progress Cases : 00408763 and 00402844 This behavior showed up in Sun Solaris / Progres OE 11.3 Kind Regards Daniel
