Hello, I am looking for some advise on setting the -pica parameter for a group of databases with replication enabled. From what I've read, all databases must have the same -pica value. Articles suggest the calculation is -pica = (TAIW / BlockCount) * 1.25 So should I take the Total AI writes from the most used database? Is this the total AI writes within 1 hour? Also, it says from the AI writes from the most busy period but I don't know when this is so not sure how to best estimate. I did an average of this in order to calculate the ai extents required so could this be used? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
