We are in the middle of a migration of our Mfg/Pro environment from the Standard Edition to the Enterprise Edition. In our old environment we had two types of appservers: the 'native' QAD appservers and our own appservers. The latter were used for external applications to communicate with QAD. QAD uses its own appservers inside the application. A user logs in and gets a session ID. This session ID is then used again on the appserver. This works fine, but for external applications we do not have a session ID so it is hard to run something on the appserver. In the SE environment this was 'hacked' together by a former employee but we would like to have it run in a more structured way. How do I run something from an external application (progress or .Net) on the Mfg/Pro appserver
