For binary code subtypes the compare option is disabled. I find this protection not needed and in some cases it limits functionality. Our compare tool is capable of comparing images, word documents , ... but RTB prevents us from using it for that. In order to preserve unix/linux style line-endings I have created our unix shell code subtype as binary . Because of that I can't compare those either. Not yet on 11.7 maybe it's changed
