Given 2004 is already passed for quite some time now, what do you think a ‘business logic’ language should do about concurrency? Apart for a parallel execution that could be implemented in database/application server I don’t see anyone needing complex algorithms processing in a regular business application and doubt anyone would consider using the 4gl for building games, graphical processing, AI, or anything else that require much CPU attention. I might be missing the obvious here but so far haven’t seen any Progress application to be CPU-bound
