Paul Is there a way to quantitatively monitor -pica usage with either promon or VST or anything else? Other than it is Good ("Normal Processing".) or Bad ("synchronizing" ) All the rest that you write above sounds pretty straight forward: Count how many AI are Locked, check the status of server and agent being 1101 and 3101. We can even rotate AI files faster ( 15 min ) or slower ( 60 min or even 2 hr ) based on how many AI are locked out of total number that are available. If server status not 1101 dsrutil -C restart server If agent status not 3101 dsrutil -C restart agent
