Hi agent_008_nl, Just out of curiosity... you'r posts read like you are trying to proof that OE is outdated. I feel you don't need to proof that. Most (if not almost all) people on this forum will agree with you that there are better alternatives. JavaScript, NativeScript, all are far superior in cloud-based environments that OE will ever be. Hard to find anyone to disagree. But.. reality is that some companies have invested thousands of man-years into building an OE application, which takes very long, to rebuild. I completely agree with most of your posts. But would like to point out that big companies with 100ths of customers sometimes are locked in against their wil. Nevertheless, I've read your article, and the claim that we should write applications with elasticity in mind is very true. And yes, not very feasable in OpenEdge. But they are at least giving it a try with tools like the Pacific AppServer. Have good one!
