Can you test the timing *without* the "LogManager" operation? Ie. just test the NEW'ing. It seems more likely that it is the log manager which is slow. Perhaps your new PASOE environment does logging differently than classic did. It might not even be the fault of PASOE, but possibly related to the disk resource. Another possibility is that it is due to the logging-related code changes that were made in OE 11.7.5 (but not made available for use - see community.progress.com/.../59682 ).
