As said, if the instance you have is not one of your extended class it won’t work... it works the other way around though. But why do you want to cast it in the first place? If that adds new methods to the webrequest class how do you expect a webrequest instance to be cast to your extended one if it simply doesn’t do what you need it to do? Sent from outer space
