> How slow is slow? That's the question. I just did a bit of quick testing with the load of an application .df into an empty DB (552 tables, 994 indexes, 8820 fields, 11 sequences). First tests took about 36 to 40 seconds; tuning got it to about 14. As Tom says, look at -r, BI tuning; also, try different block sizes and blocks per cluster.
