I can confirm your results in tests with 11.7.2 on Linux against sports2000 without/with an index on the "linenum" field and without/with your -prefetch* parameters: Messages receive: 197 14 9 9 Messages sent: 196 13 8 8 Bytes received: 21542 1688 1148 1148 Bytes sent: 233720 215969 215486 215486 Records received: 0 0 0 0 Records sent: 3953 3953 3953 3953 Queries received: 196 13 8 8 Time slices: 3799 3988 3991 3991 The results are unexpected for me and they are different from what I got in V10.2B.
