Matheus R. Mokwa Progress Application Server (11.7) and Pacific Application Server (11.6) are the same. You can call it PASOE. One reason could be that the catalina-oepas1.pid file (%CATALINA_BASE%\logs) was not removed while the PAS was being shut down. If so then remove that pid file manually and try to start. In my case the default CATALINA_BASE: "C:\OpenEdge\WRK\oepas1"
