Hi emmablisa, I have used both and without a doubt VMware is superior to VirtualBox. In my environment, an iMac with 32 gig ram I have used VMware every day for 10+ years now and have never had a crash with it. Rock solid. I can’t say the same for VirtualBox. Many crashes when using it. I have used it with Windows, OSX and Linux as the host OS. Crashing problems on all three. Brian
