Hi, I am using 11.6.1. I was thinking to use param2 e.g. to dynamically modify the schema for the return dataset. One reason is to minimize network traffic by excluding unnecessary fields from the dataset. I know that this could be achieved by creating several services with different views (temp-tables) of the same data but I was hoping to have a more flexible way. Another use case for param2 might be to define the desired language for returned data. Thanks for your quick reply and for the links, those seem to be helpful, I have to check them out.
