I just updated a github project that you could make use of. https://github.com/StefanHoutzager/elixir-dev-anywhere-docker . It is for developing elixir apps using the fantastic intellij ide (which can be used for other languages). The applications are dockerized, it uses docker-compose also. The ide is replacable with eclipse, I've seen github projects with eclipse dockerized. Enjoy.
