Hi All, You know the basic concept of the rules engine is split the business process, business rules and data. Competitor JBoss BRMS insist on 'Don't consume the data from rules engine'. I wonder whether it is correct or not. Progress Corticon has the capability of connecting database from rules engine - EDC. I think EDC is competitive feature because other rules engine don't have. But the competitor like JBoss BRMS argue that 'it is against the principal of the BRMS'. My opinion is this is just the principal and the from the implementation viewpoint, it is not contradictory to the concept of the rules engine. Any knowledge or counter for this?
