Is there a plan for OpenEdge to support messaging via AMQP? I think it would be a nice thing to complement the existing messaging capabilities ("generic JMS") and may allow a 100% native ABL solution (ie no java "symbionts"). I happened to notice that a couple individuals from Progress were acknowledged in the oasis spec for AMQP: Stanley Lewis (Progress Software) Colin MacNaughton (Progress Software) see: http://docs.oasis-open.org/amqp/core/v1.0/os/amqp-core-complete-v1.0-os.pdf Perhaps this is a clue that something may be in the works to allow OE messaging via AMQP . Can anyone confirm?
