Charles, Please can you elloborate further this enahancement request. As per your current description and my understanding is, you are asking a configuration option to show the Field Labels to appear as watermarked label within valu fields. Please correct me if i missunderstood your request. But if my understanding is correct then in that case this approach will be helpful for new record creation but will be very confusing in case of edit record as the value field will have value and user will not have an idea what that value for (as the watermarked lable/placeholder label wont be present). Also I would like to check if you have tried the other option we have to render the label on top of the value field which will resolve this issue. Please let me know if i am missing something here.
