Corticon version 5.7 is not allowing Self Signed to be trusted. It is accepting CA signed certs only. In general necessarily we would not use CA signed certs always in all the scenarios. So, as it used to be in version 5.5, add the functionality in version 5.7 so that Corticon Server can trust Self Sign certs and not just CA signed certs for HTTPS communications.
