Progress 9.1D - SOLARIS 5.10

Hi All,

We are currently working on Progress 9.1D with SOLARIS 5.9.
We are planning to upgrade SOLARIS from 5.9 to 5.10.
So please let me know that Progress 9.1D supports on SOLARIS 5.10 or not?

Progress 9.1d is not supported on any platform - it's not supported at all. Plus, AFAIK, Solaris 10 is the current version of Solaris. You should have a look into the product availability guide for Progress V9 which versions are supported.

But, Currently we are running Progress 9.1D on SOLARIS 9.

9.1d is not supported at all because it's so old. Not supported means that you can call tech support of Progress but they will tell you that you need to upgrade to at least 9.1e04 which is the last V9 of Progress that is supported.

That does not mean it won't run. Maybe it will even run on Solaris 10 - but, if you run into troubles you won't get much support from Progress. And that, IMHO, is not acceptable for any production system that has any value.
