Progress 9.1C Installation

Dear all,

OS: Windows XP SP3
User Level: Newbie

1. Follow each steps carefully,
2. Try to attach demo.db via Progress Explorer, ended with message 20931

Quesions:
A. Why Progress Installation not attach available databases automatically ? or one by one with user confirmation...
B. Do Progress installation by default modify c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\services ? or do I have to modify it manually ?

9.1C is ancient and unsupported. You should not be running it nor installing it.

If you are going to install version 9 you should be installing 9.1E service pack 4. It is also ancient (4+ years old) but it is at least, sort of, supported. (There will be no more service packs nor any bug fixes for version 9.)
