Progress 8 vs. OpenEdge 10

I'm using Progress 8 with NetTerm interface and I might switch over to the new openedge v. 10 suite. Using version 8, with netterm anyway, is disappointing at best. Apart from the design considerations, program compilation seems discheveled at times. I've come across numerous errors in compiled programs tracked down to faulty compiler logic! If one is using NetTerm Progress is best suited as a "flexible" database query tool rather than a standalone application developer. How would building web based applications with OpenEdge compare with this? Is it just a "face value" change or would I be in for a good surprise?

Don't forget there is a big, huge difference between O E 10 and V 8. The ADM has been completely rewritten to ADM2, and also there are the new language features. It is not simply P & P, there are a t of database schemantics that need to be aplied. How do you KNOW that the V 8 DB will be compatable with the O E 10 ?
Dont be too quick to jump in, get PSC or other proffesional advice.
