Progress 8.3c on Dual Cpu HPUX 11.0 server

Hi everyone,

I am running Progress on a dual cpu hpux 11.0 server and is context switching between the 2 cpus.

Im not a progress dba but is there any startup parameters needed to have the database split the load between the cpu's.

Any information would be much appreciated.

hi there Darren,

As far as I am aware it is the OS that does the process sharing among the CPUs but there is a parameter that might interest you, it is -spin.
