Progress 4GL Developer
As a Progress 4GL Developer with U.S. Bank, you will:
• Full scope ERP system development.
• Be responsible for reviewing and analyzing systems, processing and enhancing requests.
• Work with users and managers to gather and determine requirements.
• Develop specifications, methodology, database requirements, feasibility, time requirements.
• Develop and debug source code.
• Document source code, procedures and utilization.
• Prepare test plans, test and debug.
• Implement and support applications in pre-production and production environments.
While we expect that you’ll possess a strong basic skill set, including excellent communication and people skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently, we also require:
• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business information systems.
• Knowledge and experience in petroleum industry, wholesale distribution or with
• companies using ERP systems.
• A minimum of three-years successfully developing enterprise software systems using the Progress 4GL and development environment.
• Strong understanding of complete ERP transaction flow.
• Must be self-motivated and pro-active, a team player and have the ability to
• consistently produce beyond expectations.
• A strong written and interpersonal communication skills, and be well organized yet comfortable working in a quickly changing environment.
