Progress 4GL Developer
Large Financial Services Company in Long Island, NY is currently seeking
seasoned Progress 4GL Developers to join their IT staff.
Qualified candidate would be responsible for:
* Analysis, Design, Specification, Development and Testing of 4GL
code to defined deadlines and exacting standards.
* Work closely with QA staff to order to maintain high quality.
* Produce design and/or functional specifications as needed for
technical documentation.
* Provide support and assistance to other departments as required.
* Knowledge Transfer and Training sessions to other developers.
Qualifications needed for this position:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent industry
experience.
* 5+ Years Software Development experience.
* 2+ Years Progress 4GL experience.
* Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
* Ability to work with others.
Major plus:
* Experience with FiServ's UniFi.
* Experience with mortgage banking or financial systems.
Pluses:
* Experience with SCM tools, DataServers and Reporting tools.
* Experience with Web technologies, including WebSpeed, JavaScript,
HTML and Open Client
