Progress 9.1d on Windows Server 2008

Hi

I know that Windows Server 2008 is not supported officially for Progress 9.1d. I found in the knowledgebase the solution P129948. There's the following note:

An unsupported/untested workaround to get Progress Explorer to run on Windows 2008 is to make the following registry entry:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Java VM --> EnableJIT = 0

While this will allow Progress Explorer to function, when run-as Administrator, Progress does not know the impact this change may have on existing installed applications. Progress suggest using this workaround with cuation.
I tried to modify the registry like described but i'm still not able to start Progress Explorer Tool. Does anybody try it with success? If yes, how?

Best regards

Works fine with higher (supported :awink:) Progress versions, do you run the application as administrator? (properties/compatibility tab/ run this program as an administrator) I f not you should check this to start explorer.

Casper.
