PO Receipts

Hi

I have a PO originating from a Blanket order with 3 lines.

The PO has been recevied with std QAD receipts screen.

After receipts the item in first line was not included in inventry report, infact shown in non inventory.
The type in line level of PO for first item is blank not M (memo).

When i check the Tx history the by item inquiry the type (T) was shown as M.

Is that means the item is a memo item ?

What can we do to bring that item also in inventory ?

pls advise at the earliest.

For a line has been received like Memo, this should have been to part outside of Parts Catalog. Or in the PO wil be captured the type like M (Memo).

Solution:
You´ll need reverse the original movement with a negative receptíon. Later You´ll need to receive this line like type blank, to sure that the part exists in the catalog.

Is the same as a normal reception, but in the quantity to receive you must type this quantity in negative.

thanks for reply .
actually the item was recieved as Memo item, so i was unable to do -ve receipts as it is not at all in inventory, it shows error:
: inventory is zero at lot/serial...

Now i made a -ve receipts for memo item by changing the type of line item to M in PO.It worked out.
