I have this PO to purchase Part A for 10,200
and I had maintain my price as below:-

Maintain at Start: 01 Feb 2009 Expire: 28 Feb 2009
Pcs Price
--------------- -------
5100 1.062
10200 0.959
20100 0.856
50100 0.787
100200 0.753

But my PO due date falls on 26 Feb 2009 (5,100) & 05 Mar 2009 (5,100)
I want to have 5100 (for both) at 0.959 pcs and not 1.062

What should I do to ensure I key in accordingly?

The standard PO Price List does not support quantity discounts for the entire order. The pricing you set up in your scenario applies only at the line level. The workaround is to create your PO as normal. When you create the first line, type in the entire quantity for the whole order (10,200) and let the system price it for you. It will come up with the 0.959 price. Copy the price the system calculated. Now go back and put in the lower quantity (5,100), the system will display the higher price. Paste the lower price over this price and complete this line with the first due date. On the next line put in the quantity (5,100) and the system will again display the higher price. Once again paste the lower price over this price and complete this line with the second due date. Continue doing this on how ever many lines you need to complete the order.

You can get order discounts using Supplier Schedules but the set up and maintenance may not be worth the hassle and the workaround is not really that much more work since you are entering all of the release dates one-by-one into the PO anyway. -Lou
