Dear Team Boscom,

DB size:- 40 GB

version:- 10.2B

Users request you to restore the test database from Prod. We had full backup and 12 incremental backup after full backup. We transferred the backup files from prod to Test. We successfully restored a full backup but while restoring the incremental backup. we got error like :- below its prompt us to yes or no . we did yes.

Incremental restore out of sequence on dbname .
WARNING: Applying this incremental backup could damage your database. (6774)
Last incremental restore was number <n+1) on Wed Feb 26 11:41:51 <year> (6776)

Do you want to continue? [y/n]: y

WARNING: This incremental was done for full backup dated Wed Feb 26 11:42:30 <year> (3747)
and last full restored to this database is dated Wed Feb 26 11:34:47 <year>. (3748)

Do you want to continue? [y/n]: y

What is this error?

Question:- Is our Db will corrupt or will not store properly? But we already restored full backup.

Please do needful

The error is exactly what it says. You are applying an incremental backup that is older than the full backup you applied.
