Trying to configure Openlink Lite for Progress 8.3a Large Client (32Bit) V4.20.01.29 for a Progress 8.3B database. Have been unsuccessful on client pc, receive message can't find database server. Was able to setup Openlink on the Progress server(Windows 2000), but only with the -db option. Will not accept -N tcp -H progress-server -S service-name, receive message can't find database server. Setting this up on the server however, only allows me to connect to Progress db from the server not the client machines. I have the server ip/name in the hosts file, can ping the server from the client, and the service name is in the services file. Any & all help is appreciated.
