OLD SKOOL CHUI Programming

I having to maintain a legacy CHUI application and the users are thick in the head about navigating around character interface. They get very confused about the using the TAB key to navigate between widgets and using the arrow keys move up & down update-able browser.

So I have followed the instructions in KB17910 but now I am unable to TAB or SHIFT-TAB out of the update-able browser onto the next widget. Why?

Please post relevant portions of the code where you are attempting this (I'm assuming you have it as a trigger?), as well as what version of Progress/Openedge you are on.
