Hello!

Is there a way to dsrutil database -C transition with the Admin Server?

My problem is that I have a managed database declared in conmgr.properties but when I do the transition or transition failover it becomes a scripted database with the target/source-startup-parameters parameter from database.repl.properties. Is there a way to avoid this?

Adding dsrutil capabilities to the admin server commands (maybe “dsrman” or “rplman”) is similar to some long-standing enhancement requests though. For instance:

So, I will have to make all scripted databases to have well defined procedures in each case. Mainly due to the issue that when I do transition and transition failover, the AdminServer is completelly useless...

Also, WebSpeed Brokers are only started through the AdminServer, so that's all they would do (the system only runs some Progress databases and some wsbrokers).
