I am a newbie on ODBC. I would like to establish a
ODBC connection from Progress v8.3a to a MS-Access
database. The both single-user Progress database
and MS-Access database are on the same PC.
First I register a datasource for the Access database
with help of the MS-Windows95 ODBC tool.
After that, I enter the Progress data-administration tool
and create I empty database and create the ODBC
dataserver schema. After I enter the logical database
name,connection parameters and datasource name I
receive the following progress-error "Non-Progress
database ... unknown" (error 1008).
Because no network is involved it seems a plain
problem but I can't see the solution at this moment.
Can anybody please help me with this problem ?
