Hello Progress folk.....
Progress 9.1C (Syteline DB)
Merant ODBC 3.6.0006
Crystal Reports 10.0.5.820
When attempting to execute a Crystal Report I receive the following error:
"Failed to open a rowset."
"HY000:[MERANT][ODBC PROGRESS Driver][Progress]Number of open cursors exceeds limit. (7612)"
The report contains 12 subreports. After some experimentation I find that it's when I add an 8th subreport that error occurs. It isn't related to a specific subreport -- it doesn't make any difference which combination of subreports I have in the main report. I've tested all subreports and each executes correctly and executes correctly in the main report as long as there are 7 or fewer subreports. I've had previous reports that have more subreports than 8 and they functioned just fine.
Any ideas on how I can resolve this issue? Thanks for any help you can give me.
Regards,
Martha Thompson
