Question Nimble Storage SANs

I just cruised down the auto-bahn this week. Did a dump and load with a couple 700gb databases, the load was on a new SSD storage solution. Loaded the data, completed the index rebuild and ran the tabanalys in 16 hours or so. The iostat utility was consistently showing 80,000 w/s - I never want to go back to an old lawn mower again...
 
I haven't seen the box yet. I don't know the status of that project. I'll let you know if it moves forward and I get to do some testing.
 
FWIW -- I'd be very interested in how you guys go about testing to make sure that you are simulating a shared workload. Testing this array in isolation will show it in its best light -- but in the real world it is a shared device that will have all sorts of other stuff going on. Finding a way to simulate that seems pretty important to me. (My inclination would be to setup some test shared load scenarios using Iometer.)
