Looks good so far. Looks better on mobile than the previous version. And it looks like the site search is working again, so that's nice.

There's no obvious link to go to the first unread message in a thread though which is annoying.

Ok so the default behaviour clicking on a thread with unread messages is to go to the first unread. I suppose that works.

Yep that worked - on the top of the editor screen is the menu bar, it's the menu next to the Alignment one. Called lists.
