new to symix configuration

hi i am new user of symix 4.0 a very old version .The version is not configured properly viz. MRP module and customized reports are not par with the our current business models .can any one help me with any information about reference material available on symix configuration and coding of report

I dont no much abt configration, but i can help u for coding. First tell me your current requirment in detail. And one more thing, r u gud in programming with Progress 4GL ? if yes u can change reports easily.

If you still have this need for Symix 4 support, try www.ramsys.com.
They are in the business of supporting Symix 4 customers with customization and I believe training. They are located in Texas.

Your other avenue is the Symix User Group which is still on line at
http://www.sytelineusernetwork.com/

As you may know Symix became Syteline became Frontstep.

You could also try www.peg.com which is the Progress Email Group.
There is a Symix related email group there with searchable archives also.

We use a customized version of Symix 4, but not the MRP portion.
