I put -RO at the end of my broker startup statement, stop and restart the broker as well as the server and I can still write to the database via an ODBC.
Did I left out something?
My enviornment as follow:
ODBC Client: MS Access via the MERANT 3.70 32-BIT PROGRESS
Progress Server Platform: UNIX (HP-UX)
Progress Version: 9.1C
ODBC version: MERANT 3.70 32-BIT PROGRESS
Broker Startup Statement: $DLC/bin/_prooibk -SV -H dpux -S histoib -N TCP -RO
